Today the hubs took the day off from work and we visited Burt's Pumpkin Farm. Then we headed over to the outlet mall (where Sam discovered how much fun a slide can be) and the Cheesecake Factory, yum! Anyway, here are the photos (click to enlarge):

Okay, so I haven't made it up to the computer in over a week! My back was out and I was pretty much useless, but I'm on the mend and trying to catch up now!
ANYWAY... We have moved on to the EPCOT section of our Disney World unit. This week, we're studying farms and biomes, based on the "Living with the Land" ride in The Land pavillion.
We kicked it off with a visit to Hillcrest Orchards yesterday. We followed our favorite family up there and the Dads got to come too! It was a sunny, cool fall day... perfect for apple pickin'!

It is always so hard to catch Sammy's sweet face because he's so close to the ground (and I'm 6'2") and he's constantly going the other way!

It was a great day. All of the children were so well behaved and had a wonderful, memorable time!
I'm a 6'2", full-figured mama with big feet, which means I never get to wear anything cute. So... I live vicariously through my beautiful 2-year-old daughter, Quincy. She has given me the opportunity to enjoy style and shopping and oh SO much more! Before I became a mama, I spent 7 years in sales and was a merchandiser for Disney. Now I homeschool my 3 kiddos and have a busy husband. We live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains in beautiful North Georgia!
